The Municipal Chief Executive for the Tarkwa Nsuaem, has encouraged all Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the municipality to remain focused, disciplined, and confident as they prepare to sit for this year’s exams.
The examination is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, across 15 designated centres in the municipality.
Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah commended the candidates for their dedication and hard work during their preparation period.
He urged them to approach the exams with calmness and determination, adding that success depends on discipline and proper planning.
He further advised candidates to carefully read all instructions, manage their time well, and give their best effort in every paper.
At the same time, the Municipal Chief Executive strongly cautioned candidates against examination malpractice.
He warned that bringing unauthorized materials into the examination hall or engaging in any form of cheating could lead to severe consequences and affect their future prospects.
Meanwhile, he called on supervisors and invigilators to carry out their duties professionally.
He urged them to avoid intimidation and instead ensure a calm, fair, and supportive environment for all candidates.
According to him, a conducive atmosphere will help candidates perform to the best of their ability.
He expressed confidence that with discipline, determination, and hard work, candidates will excel and contribute positively to their families and the development of the municipality.
