Dr. Felix Kwame Quainoo, popularly known as Dr. Acid, has been unanimously endorsed as Vice Dean and Official Spokesperson of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairmen Caucus in the Western Region.
Dr. Quainoo, who is the NPP Constituency Chairman for Prestea Huni Valley, secured the endorsement from his fellow constituency chairmen on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
The decision was taken on the sidelines of the NPP Emergency Western Regional Stakeholders Consultative Meeting held at the Kingstel Hotel in Takoradi.
The meeting brought together party stakeholders from across the Western Region and was addressed by NPP Leader and 2028 presidential candidate, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Quainoo’s elevation is seen as a vote of confidence in his leadership, political experience and commitment to grassroots party organisation.
His new role will see him support the coordination of activities of constituency chairmen across the region.
He will also serve as the official voice of the caucus and communicate its collective positions on issues affecting constituency leadership.
Dr. Quainoo is expected to use the position to strengthen communication and cooperation among NPP constituency chairmen in the Western Region.
The role also places him at the centre of efforts to deepen grassroots mobilisation as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.
For the Prestea Huni Valley Constituency, the endorsement represents a significant recognition of one of its leading party figures.
It also gives the constituency a stronger presence within the regional leadership structure of the party.
Dr. Quainoo is expected to bring his experience at the constituency level to the caucus as it works to promote unity, coordination and effective grassroots engagement.
His endorsement comes at a time when the NPP is seeking to strengthen its structures and rebuild its electoral fortunes ahead of the 2028 elections.
