The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has distributed relief items to victims of recent disasters in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality.
The affected residents include those affected by fire outbreakimpacted by a heavy rainstorm on April 20, 2026, in Tarkwa.

Items provided to the victims included roofing sheets, roofing nails, and mattresses to support their recovery.
The Municipal Director of NADMO, Jacob Nyarko Cromwell, explained that the relief effort aims to assist affected families in rebuilding their homes and restoring basic living conditions.
He also expressed gratitude to local authorities, including the Member of Parliament and Municipal Chief Executive, for their support in facilitating the distribution exercise.
The Assembly Member for Cyanide Electoral Area, Dominic Barnes received the items on behalf of the victims. He expressed his appreciation to NADMO, the MP and MCE of Tarkwa Nsuaem for the timely intervention.
