EPA Vehicle Stolen in Tarkwa: Public Asked to Assist

An official vehicle belonging to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Tarkwa has been reported stolen.

The vehicle, a white Toyota Land Cruiser Trooper with registration number GS-1845-23, was parked at New Atuabo Budocity, a suburb of Tarkwa, when it mysteriously disappeared in the early hours of today.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle woke up to discover that the car had been stolen overnight.

The incident has since been reported to the Tarkwa Police Command, who have commenced investigations into the matter.

The stolen vehicle, which bears clear EPA branding, plays a critical role in the agency’s field operations, particularly in monitoring and regulating environmental activities within the mining areas in and around Tarkwa.

The general public is being urged to assist in locating the vehicle.
