The Ghana Police Service has announced a series of robust security measures to ensure the safety and peace of all citizens and visitors during the 2025 Easter celebrations.
In a press release issued by the Public Affairs Directorate of the Police Headquarters, the service disclosed that officers have been strategically deployed across the country to maintain law and order throughout the festive period.
According to the Assistant Commissioner of Police and Director of Public Affairs, Grace Ansah-Akrofi, security personnel have been stationed on roads and within communities in all regions to monitor activities and respond swiftly to any incidents.
Special attention has also been given to the Kwahu areas, which traditionally attract thousands of revelers for the annual Paragliding Festival and other Easter events. The police assured the public that adequate arrangements have been made to secure these venues.
“We urge everyone to be security conscious, remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police,” the statement emphasized.
The Police Administration concluded by wishing the general public a happy and peaceful Easter celebration.
