The Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Benjamin Kessie has stated that, there will be a simulation match between Fiasec and Tarsco before the official opening of the Tarkwa stadium.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Municipal Assembly, Hon Kessie noted that, the contractor has trained people on how to use the facilities within the Tarkwa stadium, after handing over technically to Gold Fields.
According to him, the simulation match which will be played in July is to test the capacity of the facilities in the Tarkwa stadium when they are put to use.
“We will open the stadium that day for supporters to fill it the stands, open the exit and entry gates, look at the nubers that will go in, bring students from TARSCO and FIASEC to fill it up, just to see how it will be, when it is put to use”, he said.
He added that, after the simulation match in July, the stadium will be commissioned in August.
He assured the citizens that the facility will be managed by the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal Assembly and not the National Sports Authority.
